ANTI-POLLUTION NUTRI-BALM FOR EYE & LIP ZONES
A highly protective, nourishing anti-ageing balm designed to help protect the entire eye orbital, lip and upper lip zones (and any other areas in need of special protection) from the harmful effects of indoor and outdoor pollution. Astaxanthin & Tocopherol (Vitamin E) provide extreme anti-oxidant protection against pollution and free-radical damage. Retinol (Vitamin A) Palmitate helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage. Collageneer® (a patented active from White Lupin) helps firm, plump, contour and lift. Avocado oil enriches the protective lipid barrier. Light diffusing Mica helps visibly enliven.
Benefits
- Protects the delicate eye & lip areas from the effects of day-to-day pollution and free radical exposure.
- Plumps, firms, contours and lifts.
- Nourishes and hydrates.
- Reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage.
- Great under makeup or highlights the eyes & lips on its own.
Key Actives
RETINOL (Vitamin A Palmitate) - improves the appearance of sun damaged, dry and mature skin to reveal soft, supple texture.
ASTAXANTHIN - a powerful antioxidant, 6,000 times more potent than Vitamin C, protects throughout the dermal layers from free radical damage, responsible for the ageing process, and sun’s damaging UV rays while also improving elasticity.
WHITE LUPIN SEED - (Collangeneer) is a patented active that boosts Collagen I synthesis and the formation and quality of the collagen matrix to firm and improve elasticity for improved facial contour. In vivo trials showed a 92% increase in firmness & 72% reduction in sagging facial contour (at 2%, 25 women over 89 days).
MSM - reduces inflammation, boosts the power of Glutathione and increases the production of pheomelanin, the type of melanin that is found in fair-skinned people, relative to eumelanin, the darker type of melanin, to reduce pigmentation. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory and calms breakouts.
MICA - reflects light to enliven skin.

How Does Pollution Affect My Skin?
The mixture of Particulate Matter (PM), Ozone, Heavy Metals, VOC'S and Free Radicals can cause major damage to our skin. Free radicals, caused by pollution, attack the cells and the skin’s own anti-oxidants. PM and heavy metals can both cause problems on the surface of the skin or penetrate through the pores leading to deeper damage.
- CELLULAR AND DNA DAMAGE
- BREAKDOWN OF COLLAGEN
- INCREASED FINE LINES
- LOSS OF ELASTICITY & LACK-LUSTRE
- BREAKDOWN OF THE LIPID BARRIER
- ABNORMAL SENSITIVITY
- INCREASED INFLAMMATION
- HYPER-PIGMENTATION & DARK SPOTS
About CITYLIFE™ RANGE
ADVANCED ANTI-POLLUTION SKIN NUTRITION #MyCityLife
92% Of the World’s population live in places where air pollution levels exceed the recommended limits set by the World Health Organisation.
The CityLife™ range is uniquely formulated and clinically-tested to target very specific pollutants and protect the skin from day to day exposure to indoor and outdoor pollution, including Ozone, PM (particulate matter), nickel and other heavy metals, and deeply damaging Singlet Oxygen, Peroxyl, Hydroxyl & Halogenated free radicals. The formulation process took 2 years of continuous clinical testing to ensure the very best results were achieved.
AIR POLLUTION & THE SKIN
City life, fun though it is, exposes us constantly to particularly high levels of air pollution. This starts from the moment we wake, taking in our daily commute, exercising or just enjoying a coffee outside, through to less obvious sources such as air conditioning, office life, even cooking and cleaning, meaning our skin is constantly exposed to the damage caused by indoor and outdoor pollution.
Pollution is also common in the countryside, especially in areas where large-scale manufacturing or farming might be taking place.
The average home or office contains 60,000 different chemicals.
INDOOR POLLUTION
Cooking Computers Furniture Air Conditioning
OUTDOOR POLLUTION
Underground Industry Vehicles Farming
TARGETED POLLUTANTS
CITYLIFE™ range has been formulated and clinically-tested to target specific pollutants and protect the skin from day to day exposure.

WHAT CAN WE DO FOR CLEANER AIR AT HOME?
While air quality in our cities is a major discussion topic and governments across the world are working on policies to reduce harmful emissions and pollutants, there are small everyday things we can do to help improve the air quality around us.
- DON'T SMOKE
- CUT DOWN ON USING AEROSOLS
- SWAP AIR-FRESHENERS FOR NATURAL OPTIONS
- MONITOR HUMIDITY LEVELS
- TAKE SHOES OFF WHEN ENTERING THE HOME
- KEEP FLOORS AND WALLS CLEAN
- USE ECO-FRIENDLY CLEANING PRODUCTS
- WHEN POSSIBLE INVEST IN ORGANIC FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
But the best, and our favourite, solution is to surround ourselves with beautiful air-purifying plants. NASA has identified dozens of plants which help filter the air from pollutants like formaldehyde and ammonia.
