Milani Bella Bellini Baked Blush ($8.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and gold shimmer. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to mostly opaque.
The Baked Blush formula is described as “richly pigmented and highly buildable” (that’s not confusing at all, right?)–it would make more sense to say something like “buildable from sheer to full coverage.” That is more in line with how they used to describe the formula when I reviewed shades from the range last year, but they have since changed it to what I’ve included here. I’m not aware of any reformulation in the last year, I feel it’s fair to take their meaning as “highly buildable” to “richly pigmented” payoff.
The consistency was smooth, slightly dusty, but it blended out nicely on the skin and did not appear powdery once buffed and worked into the skin. The blush had a very strong sheen, which slightly emphasized my skin’s natural texture when worn at semi-opaque or higher coverage. The color started to fade noticeably after seven and a half hours of wear.
