First of all - who is Pgeon, and what they do?
Pgeon is a relatively new kid on the block in the last mile delivery industry, and they are collaborating with partners with a physical outlet like 99Speedmart, MyNews and others as the drop off and collection center. Think of it like Pos Laju office for you to drop off or collect your parcel, except that you do not pay over the counter in their partner's outlet. Apart from parcel collection at their partner's outlet, they can also deliver at your door step for select area, but that is not what we want to talk about at the moment.
Now we know Pgeon, what is Pgeon Collect?
Pgeon Collect is one of service by Pgeon, for busy people whom undecided either to wait for the courier to come or to go elsewhere. Sound like you? So you must know the feeling, "Oh! Shall I go now, or later? Will the courier ever come today?"
Think of it like your second address, with a helper to help you to receive a parcel on your behalf. Within seven (7) days, you can go to the collection center at your own sweet time during their business hour to collect your parcel. The cost? FREE!
Excited? Here is what you have to do to start using Pgeon Collect:
1. Register - https://www.pgeon.delivery
2. Check your SMS, and verify your phone number with the PIN code.
3. Choose Pgeon Collect: https://www.pgeon.delivery/portal/service/collect
4. Enter postcode where you plan to collect your parcel, e.g., 50480.
5. You will see few icons that represent Pgeon collection center. Pick one of those, e.g,, MyNews @ Solaris Mont Kiara (396) and click "Book Slot".
6. A pop-up confirmation window will appear. Click "Confirm".
7. After that, you will be given a name and shipping address that you have to use as your shipping address. For example:
Name: Natasha Romanoff (PGEON)
Address: MyNews @ Solaris Mont Kiara (396), No. 20-g, Jln Solaris 4, Solaris Mont Kiara, Mont Kiara 50480 Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
8. Use the above information to shop at your favorite online store, like www.beautyspot.my.
9. After your online store ship your item, just sit back and relax while waiting for the SMS that will notify you to collect the parcel at your earlier selected Pgeon collection center few days later.
10. Go to the collection center at its business hour (which is usually longer than normal Pos Laju or any courier's operation hour) and show the 4-digit PIN code that you received along with the SMS to collect your parcel.
